FOOTHILL ENTERTAINMENT SNAGS BIZZARO RIGHTS

March, 2007 - Santa Barbara, CA: Foothill Entertainment, Inc. and Studio Bizzaro announced today that Foothill has been granted worldwide (ex Asia and Australasia) distribution rights to the distinctive and fun Planet Bizzaro, The World According to Zoomer.

Created by accomplished puppeteer Brian Zimmerman and co-produced by Brad Bowyer, Planet Bizzaro, The World According to Zoomer, is an innovative, live-action puppet series with a unique combination of live-action, miniature backgrounds and state-of-the-art puppetry specifically designed for tweens. Originally conceived as the concept for a series of Public Service announcements, Planet Bizzaro became the design for a live-action puppet show. It came to life as a set of comic shorts for Nickelodeon, called "What Planet Are You From." Then, a year later, it evolved into the present episodic television series "Planet Bizzaro, The World According To Zoomer."

The series revolves around Zoomer and a young Earth girl named Amber as they strike up an online friendship. What Amber doesn't realize is that Zoomer is a fifteen year-old alien boy and that he and his kooky friends live on Bizzaro, a dust-ball planet some 317 light years away! Amber sees Zoomer as a special friend as she confides in him about the things she feels are desperately wrong in her world. Zoomer's responses detail, with wacky stories, how he and his friends have dealt with the challenges of peer pressure and school work in their lives on Planet Bizzaro. Each episode ends with Amber finding the right answers thanks to a sympathetic Zoomer relating his colorful stories.

"The show provides an inspiring look at friendship, creative exploration and issues that surround the teenage spirit," said Jo Kavanagh-Payne, President of Foothill. "We're very pleased to have acquired an imaginative show with such loveable characters and original stories."
