VESSELS
- 13 X 25' eps.
|
Live Action/Animation Series |
The year is 2050.
The world has become a bright, bold, multi-cultural landscape
filled with happy consumers; where people are defined
by what they wear, what they watch, and what they buy. Entertainment
and tabloid stories are the primary news of the day. It's
not that there aren't real problems anymore -- it's just
that life is going so well for most people; they just don't
want to deal with anything too "messy." One of
the forces behind this new Utopian consumerism is a conglomerate
known as THE VSL FAMILY, which markets everything from entertainment,
clothing and snack food to politics and spirituality, all
wrapped up in a big shiny package promoting “One Unified
Harmonious Spirit.” At least that's what it says
in the brochure. Lilah Turner, however, discovers that the
real truth isn't found in the corporate literature.
It's found in the blood...inside of her and thousands of others is the destructive "seed" of
an invasion, launched by aliens already living among us, in the form of corporate
monolith THE VSL FAMILY. And within this organization are an elite group
of carriers -- the VESSELS, human in appearance but alien to the core, single-mindedly
dedicated to only one mission: spreading an "infection" that will ultimately
enslave the human race.
Created and to be directed by Emmy-winning director, Eric Radomski. Foothill
is seeking funding and pre-sales for this series that is to be produced by phuuz
entertainment.

examples of exceptional determination and courage in a profession
which even now remains a male preserve. Their bond of friendship
united them until their untimely and unexplained deaths.
