The distributor had a very successful run at Mipcom 2013, where its catalog from Content Media made a splash among buyers and its animated title Boy and the Dinosaurwas the 3rd most viewed show at the MIPJunior screenings.
International kids’ content distributor Foothill Entertainment had a very successful run at the 2013 Mipcom in Cannes, France; where its new catalogue of programming from industry power house Content Media, was very well received.
“We found the market to be really enthusiastic and upbeat in all sectors with a resurgent optimistic outlook,” said Elizabeth Stephens, Director of Sales & Development.
At Mipcom, the company successfully launched Rollie & Friends,which engages kids in an entertaining way to teach them about diversity and community; and two shorts: Sealed Section and Funny Face.
Moreover, with all of the wonderful programmes at the MIPJunior screenings, Foothill’s Boy and the Dinosaur series was the 3rd most viewed show for the second year in a row. “We are thrilled that our clients, old and new, continue to be delighted with the unique look and sound of this heartwarming series that is attracting interest around the globe,” Stephens said. Pre-production is underway with deliveries starting in late 2014.
The company is now announcing the addition of new live-action multi-platform titles to its Content Media catalog, including The Cut, First Day, First Day 2: First Dance, Hollywood is Like High School With Money, Pretty Tough, The Assistant and Young Dracula. “These innovative series represent cutting edge, contemporary filmmaking and we are anxious to introduce them to you,” she concluded.
