Foothill preps Content’s Cut for Mipcom

Transatlantic producer-distributor Foothill Entertainment is prepping a teen soap opera that first aired on the BBC ahead of this month’s Mipcom.

The Cut was broadcast as both a linear TV show and online in the UK and has already been commissioned for a third season having sold to networks around the world.

It will be available at this weekend’s MipJunior screenings and is part of the 1,600 hours of shows belonging to London’s Content Media Corporation sold by Foothill, which also includes tween dramas Young Dracula, Even Stevens and The Assistants.

Both US-based Foothill and its UK affiliate, Foothill Europe, are heading to Mipcom, with a slate that lso includes Family Biz and 100 Deeds For Eddie McDowd.
