First fruits of Foothill's deal with phuuz earlier this month are Vessels and Boxing Betties & Boy (right). The first is set in a futuristic world filled with happy consumers, but the corporate giant controlling the world is actually run by aliens.
A second phuuz project is a stylized toon about four female alien refugees who arrive on earth and quickly become boxing champs and, sure enough, are persuaded to use their powers to fight evil.
Across the pond in the UK, Foothill's creative partner Phew! has developed another pair of animated projects that will be launching at Cannes. Kiz & Tel (left) follows two 12-year-old kids who start their own TV show from their front room.
Snapper, meanwhile, is a preschool show about an alligator, a monkey and a parrot who all live together on a paddleboat on the Amazon. Last Mipcom, Foothill and Phew unveiled two other kids properties: Me & My Shadow and Gododo.
Foothill, set up by ex DIC Entertainment evp Gregory Payne and former Link Entertainment svp Jo Kavanagh-Payne, also represents Phew's two earlier properties: Food Chain and Wilder West Tales.
